I’m a mission-focused leader with deep expertise in nonprofit financial management, grants strategy, and operations leadership—especially in organizations serving children, families, and people experiencing homelessness. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve managed up to $50 million in annual budgets, including $31 million in grants and contracts, and built strong financial and administrative infrastructures that power long-term impact and sustainability. In nonprofit, government, and academic settings, I’ve led high-performing teams and driven operational transformation through multi-year forecasting, strategic planning, internal controls, and compliance systems. I love roles that require both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and where I can align financial stewardship with mission outcomes. As a grant strategist, I’ve secured over $20 million in competitive funding and overseen the full lifecycle of complex federal, state, and foundation awards—including those from NIH, DoD, EPA, and the Department of Education. I also have deep experience with contract negotiation and management, including purchase orders, subcontracts, and agency agreements (VA, FDA, OHA, and others). What sets me apart is how I lead: with integrity, empathy, and a relentless focus on solutions. At OHSU, I built and retained a team with extraordinary longevity, 7–10 years on average, by creating a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and a “find a way to say yes” mindset. I’m seeking a Portland-area nonprofit where I can strengthen operations, steward resources, and drive meaningful change. I’m open to hybrid roles and don’t need a leadership title to lead. I simply step in where I’m needed, fix what’s broken, and help teams thrive.
