About Anne Power

I am passionate about helping people to achieve optimal physical health and wellness through holistic physiotherapy rehabilitation. My Career includes working in acute medicine/outpatient departments within large teaching hospitals in Australia and Overseas, as well as private practice clinics. Teaching undergraduates and postgraduates in the field of Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal physiotherapy rehabilitation has been a rewarding part of my work in promoting evidence-based physiotherapy. Other clinical interests include Pilates, Acupuncture, Women’s Health and Hydrotherapy, with the development and implementation of various exercise-based programs. My approach to being a physiotherapist is to treat people holistically with comprehensive examination and diverse treatment options. My interest is the restoration of functional movement for the wellbeing of the community. Currently as owner and Director of focus on physio on the Gold Coast I mentor a fabulous Team of physiotherapists in a leading clinic with onsite hydrotherapy. The community we help includes working people, all sporting ages, the over 50s, aged care and NDIS disability participants as a registered provider with the NDIS Commission
