About Anne Rositch

Dr. Anne F. Rositch is an applied epidemiologist, concentrating on cancer in women and global cancer disparities, with a background in basic science and experience conducting international field-based research. She received her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Cancer Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins. For nearly 20 years her research has focused on HPV/cervical cancer in HIV-positive individuals, aging women, and in low-resource settings. It has spanned the transnational spectrum from epidemiological studies to understand the natural history of the disease, to studying the effectiveness and implementation of cervical cancer prevention in low-resource settings. Now at Hologic, Dr. Rositch will lead research on global women's health to increase access to cervical cancer, breast cancer, and HIV/STI diagnostics to improve the foundation for appropriate care. Prior to joining Hologic, Dr. Rositch was an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she maintains an active Adjunct Appointment.
