Anne commenced her career as an Investigator with WorkCover Queensland. From 1995 to 2006, she performed various investigation roles at WorkCover, including Area Service Officer (Field Officer) and Compliance Officer. As an Area Service Officer she conducted statutory claim investigations to determine the relationship between injury and work. In 2001, she was promoted to the position of Compliance Advisor in the WorkCover Prosecutions Unit, where she conducted fraud investigations and was involved in the prosecution of offences under the WorkCover legislation.
