About Anne Speca

I’m a learning strategist and KM leader with 20 years of experience in learning experience design, educational technology, digital strategy, design, and communications. I’ve built learning systems for government agencies, designed a capacity building program for a global project in 20 countries, and led teams designing and developing digital platforms for government and the private sector. My career began in the classroom teaching English to Spanish Army cadets in Madrid, which sparked a passion for education that has shaped my trajectory across lifelong learning, EdTech, organizational development, and digital learning ecosystems. A common thread through all my work is connecting people, ideas, and knowledge through purposeful learning structures and smart use of digital tools. I’ve held senior roles on complex global projects involving strategy and execution, cross-functional team management, and high-level client engagement. I’ve also led digital comms and product teams, helping build platforms like the Corporate Partnering Portal and EducationLinks, with a focus on UX, metadata strategy, and learner discovery. Much of my career has had an international dimension, from working at the Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance, to helping establish a UK-based division of the Corporate Executive Board, to work in Latin America and Africa for the World Bank and Chemonics. These experiences have shaped a systems-thinking mindset I bring to every engagement, blending technical leadership with human-centered learning.
