About Anne Tsui

ANNE S. TSUI She is a research scholar and educator who is deeply committed to making a difference in the world through her teaching, writing and professional service. She is active in professional association leadership and serve as a journal editor throughout her career. She served as the 67th President of the Board of the Academy of Management, the largest and most respected professional association of almost professors and doctoral students worldwide. She was the 14th Editor the premier Academy of Management Journal. She founded the International Association for Chinese Management Research in 2012 to promote global collaboration. She was the Founding Editor-in-Chief of Management and Organization Review, both dedicated to promoting and publishing research on management in the Chinese Management. After early retirement in 2011, Anne, along with 24 leading scholars from over ten countries in the five core disciplines in the business schools, accounting, finance, management, marketing, and operations management, championed the establishment of the Responsible Research in Business and Management network. The mission of RRBM is to promote and catalyze scientific research that produces credible knowledge that is useful in addressing problems important for both business and society. To prepare the young generation of scholars to conduct responsible research, she teaches a PhD seminar on the philosophical foundation of responsible research, a free zoom-based course with students from all over the world. She also championed a Dare to Care doctoral dissertation scholarship to encourage doctoral students to study economic and social injustice and ways to reduce it.
