Background

About Anne Vo

As an associate professor at Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine, I have over 15 years of experience in designing and delivering courses, conducting and publishing research, and leading and supporting institutional initiatives in evaluation and data science.Since earning my PhD in Social Research Methodology from UCLA, I have received multiple awards and fellowships for my academic excellence and contributions. I am also credentialed by the Canadian Evaluation Society in Evaluation and hold a certificate in Equity and Inclusion, Systems Thinking, and AI Strategy from Cornell University. I leverage skills and know-how in these areas to facilitate consensus building experiences, particularly those requiring highly diverse groups of decision-makers to create data-informed policies, processes, and systems. My professional commitments stem from formative experiences as a descendent of war refugees; a product of under-resourced urban social systems; a First Generation college and doctoral degree holder; an Asian American woman working at the intersection of education, technology, and healthcare. I center people, values, learning, and results.
