The challenge is to deliver the combination of sustainability with other requirements like; brand-fit, consumer experience, technical feasibility, costs and regulatory compliance. My drive to ensure we do deliver on packaging projects! Sustainable packaging is possible. Food companies and packaging suppliers have multiple ideas and valuable expertise. Key steps for successful transition to sustainable packaging are; • Analyze packaging portfolio & build plan • Close teamwork between companies, suppliers and retail • Master packaging development projects • Assure food safety & environmental regulatory compliance I see ideas get lost and packaging progress get blocked. I easily connect with people, understand different positions and see possibilities. Sometimes technical, sometimes process-based and sometimes organizational solutions. I assure ideas are shared, accepted and delivered together. I enjoy working closely between suppliers and development to deliver packaging, like the award winning Bottle (Danone). I built the packaging specifications team. This was my deep-dive in food contact regulations, data-systems (SAP) and quality processes. I am proud of translating the sustainability policy towards daily work with suppliers.
