My heart lies in working for organizations with a social or cultural purpose. I have more than 30 years of experience at, among others: universities,(university) libraries, culture, healthcare, housing corporations, development cooperation, art and museums. I create stories in words and images that bridge the gap between the organization and its target groups. In close collaboration with managers, policy or project staff, I ensure that texts and (visual) stories- connect with the hearts and minds of the target group(s)- present the essence concisely and concretely- are well-founded, personal and easily understandable. Based on interviews with employees and people from the target group, I write catchy personal stories in which readers recognize themselves (their questions, concerns and motives). I quickly and clearly reduce complex and sensitive matters to the core - with an eye for the interests of the organization and the stakeholders. My approach: systematic, collaborative, creative in solutions, concepts and design. Analytically strong, good organizer. As a writing coach and content specialist with a "fresh eye" I help others to convey the essence of the message clearly and appealingly.
