About Anneli Aab

I am not only an effective communication and marketing professional; I also have been working in the field of education implementation, innovation, and change leadership. For many years I've been positioned in several high-level managerial roles within the private and public sectors, engaging daily at the C-suite level with international organizations to showcase Estonia on the global stage. My passion is to connect innovation, education, and people not only from Europe but around the world. As the ‘Head of the Department of International Talent' at Enterprise Estonia (Work in Estonia), my role was to create a national program strategy aimed at attracting foreign talents (especially ICT and engineering) to work and settle in Estonia. I developed a large network of partners in public, private and multinational organizations, thus supporting talented people from all over the world to discover a new and exciting life with attractive career prospects right here in Estonia! Previously I worked as ‘Head of Communications and International Cooperation at Foundation Innove’; creating and communicating a new management initiative ‘Education Nation’, which introduced Estonian education globally. Estonian educational system was ranked first among European countries in the PISA; Programme for International Student Assessment,(Reading, Science and Mathematics). Thanks to my experience as a trainer and consultant for various organizations, I have a great overview of different management and communication styles. This helps tailor the most suitable approach and communication route for the most demanding projects. Such a wide range of experience has given me the tools to shape the most relevant messages and reach the correct audience. See also: I am a goal and results-driven person. People describe me also as a good listener with an ability to motivate and inspire others. My greatest strength is my ability to keep a cool head and single-pointed focus as I work through any and all challenges that arise during the creative process. I derive great pride and satisfaction from my ability to implement ideas and find joy in the process of creation with all its ups and downs. For me, it is very important to develop myself through mindfulness. Our world is changing, expectations for leadership have changed and we all need new competencies to be better. In my free time, I am an avid reader, I like particularly biographies, history and the modern management practice of holacracy.
