About Anneliese Schaefer

Marketing is my passion because I love to breathe life into imaginative ideas. I can take a vision of the future and make it a vibrant and innovative reality with impact on consumer's lives. Effective marketing requires me to think creatively and outside of my world view to better understand the needs and desires of customers. Finally, marketing is an ever changing field of new ideas and technologies that allow me to reach new frontiers and achievements. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Marketing, B.S. with a concentration in Social Media Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am also an experienced entrepreneur and own/run Oddball Critters on Etsy. I love to take wild, amazing, and nerdy subjects and market them to the world. I am interested in full-time work as a marketing coordinator, marketing specialist, or related field where I can grow and learn new skills. With Oddball Critters, I show that I can successfully take a small idea and make it into a profitable venture. I have experience in almost every area of business from Finance to Sales to Production- I handle all management, product creation, sales, and administration - I collect/analyze shop data and interpret data results to make profitable decisions - I run Social Media Marketing on Twitter and Instagram that shows growth - Over 800 sales with online and in-person shopping options - Consistent customer satisfaction with more than 175 five-star reviews - I design content, products, and shop layout to maximize consumer gratification If you catch me outside of work, I love to crochet hats and gloves, color meditative images, play games, and read comics. I am also a Performing Cast Member at the Carolina Renaissance Festival, and you can find me in full knight regalia sharing my character's story at the Front Gate!
