About Annette Fleet

My passion is for delivering outstanding business results through the quality and actions of its people. I have over 30 years’ experience as a practitioner and a consultant in the fields of talent and organisational development, leadership, HR, training and coaching. Maximising a person’s potential in the work environment is core to my ethos and as a result I have coached many individuals and teams at all career levels, including executive team members. I bring my energy and enthusiasm to all interactions and love to set ambitious objectives for myself and others. My curiosity, constructive challenge, insightfulness and pragmatism have enabled me to bring out the best in others. I am currently working with Yorkshire Building Society where we are transforming the impact of learning and leadership. I also have a consultancy business, Talent Equation, which I founded in 2009 where our focus is on building leadership excellence. I have held a number of senior leadership positions in HR over the years and in financial services and manufacturing sectors. Back in my 20's I also opened up and ran 2 retail outlets for 5 years as a hobby and additional activity to my already full time HR role (I must have been mad!). We sold nursery goods and designer children's clothes and I learnt a huge amount from this experience. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and a Neuro linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner. I am also a qualified user of various psychometric and assessment tools including British Psychological Society Level A and Level B, Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI) Step 1 & Step 2, Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI), Lominger eChoices (learning agility).
