About Annette Mitchell

I have a degree in Clinical Measurement Science specialising in Respiratory/Sleep,Vascular and Cardiology diagnostic testing. I am currently working in the Bon Secours Hospital as a Senior Respiratory/Sleep Physiologist where I perform a variety of diagnostic tests on adults. Full Pulmonary Function tests (Spirometry, Diffusion Capacity, lung Volumes, Reversibility and Muscle strength testing, Allergy testing and 6min walking tests). I also perform advanced testing such as Mannitol Challenge and Cardio-pulmonary exercise testing. I worked as a Vascular Physiologist in Connolly Hospital for nine years in a busy diagnostic department. This was a clinical role which involved the use of highly sophisticated diagnostic equipment and direct patient care.
