About Annette Sanchez

Annette Sanchez is a talented trial attorney with considerable successful litigation experience in multiple areas of the law, including family law, juvenile law, real estate law, and general civil litigation. She is also a trained family court mediator serving the South Florida community. Annette began her career as an attorney at Children Legal Services, where she prosecuted cases of abuse, abandonment, and neglect against the children of Miami-Dade County. She subsequently entered private practice primarily representing banks and businesses in commercial litigation matters in both state and federal court. During her time in private practice, Annette handled a variety of case types, including divorces, mortgage foreclosures, breach of contracts, and fraud. In 2013, desirous of serving the public again, she returned to Children Legal Services as a Senior prosecutor. Annette won 13 termination of parental rights trial and 7 dependency trials, receiving only one unfavorable verdict in her entire career as a prosecutor. She facilitated the reunification of parents with their children when appropriate, providing families with the necessary tools and services needed to achieve a safe home environment. When reunification was not viable, Annette took part in ensuring that the children of Miami-Dade county found a forever home either through adoption or guardianship. She has been serving the children of her community since a young age. At age 15, having been a classically trained pianist for 9 years, Annette began her own small business as a piano instructor and continued teaching until she went to law school. She was also a cheerleading coach and mentor for girls ages 3 to 5 years old and 12 to 14 years old.
