About Anni Persson

I hold an MSc in Psychology, with a master’s thesis in Cognitive Neuroscience, building on a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia.During my studies, I worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Infant Cognition for three years, gaining experience in participant recruitment, data collection, and analysis. I also completed a summer internship on a longitudinal project examining infant socio-moral development. My master’s thesis focused on memory integration and involved designing experiments and recruiting over 100 participants.I currently work as a Safer Gambling Trainer in Malta, where I train and support teams in responsible gambling practices. My role involves translating complex behavioral insights into practical guidance, assessing risk patterns, and promoting sustainable, player-focused decision-making. This has strengthened my communication, analytical, and people-focused problem-solving skills.Alongside my academic background, I have experience in customer-facing roles within the service industry, further developing my communication and organizational abilities. Having lived across Asia, North America, and Europe, I bring a strong multicultural perspective and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds.I’m motivated to apply my research expertise, analytical skills, and international experience in meaningful, people-centered roles.
