About Annice McEwan

As a Communications & Marketing Manager at USA Cares, a national veteran nonprofit organization, I design and execute strategic marketing plans that increase donor engagement and media coverage. I collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure unified branding and goal alignment, and I build and maintain relationships with area media to ensure coverage of our organization’s news and achievements. With a background in Sports Journalism, I have developed a diverse set of skills that make me a versatile and effective communicator. I have experience in social media management, web content creation, video editing, graphic design, and public relations. I am driven by social media metrics, page views, site rankings, and conversion rates, and I am dedicated to improving them through strategic planning. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs, and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Media. My biggest passion is finding and highlighting human connections and sharing them with a wider audience. I believe companies are made better with a diverse staff and its collection of talent. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new challenges. I am also a mental health advocate and a fan of true crime podcasts, cookbooks, paint-by-numbers, and stand-up comedy.
