About Annie Beddoes

I am an enthusiastic and highly motivated BSc Biochemistry student at the University of Sheffield who is currently undertaking an industrial placement within a scientific research/laboratory environment. This will allow me to immediately apply my current scientific knowledge and work as part of a team to develop my practical and interpersonal skills. I aspire to work within a company which tackles challenges in healthcare and disease through their research. Organisation, communication and teamworking skills are shown through my role as social secretary for a university music society and through my 10 year commitment to scouting where I started as a cub scout and now assist leading the cub pack along with recently being appointed to the District team which allows me to encourage other young adults to continue and enjoy their roles within scouting.
