About Annie Carr

As a Director of Advocacy at USAA, I lead a team of passionate and dedicated professionals who advocate for the needs and interests of our members and employees. I have over fourteen years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on claims operations, process improvement, and customer service. I am also a Certified SAFe® Practitioner, which enables me to apply agile principles and practices to deliver value and quality to our stakeholders. My mission is to help others and make a difference, whether it is through mentoring, facilitating, coaching, or influencing. I leverage my interpersonal skills and analytical and strategic thinking to build strong relationships, drive change, and solve problems. I have successfully led and collaborated with multiple third parties, internal departments, and senior leaders on various initiatives, such as creating a helpline, improving contact center efficiency, and implementing process changes. I am always looking for new ways to learn, grow, and contribute to USAA's vision and values.
