About Annie Green

My name is Annie Green, and I am a 21 year old college student from Jackson, TN. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in social work from Harding University, as well as a minor in Women’s Studies. I plan on going on to earn my Master’s in Social Work, and potentially a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with the goal of private practice. I graduated from Jackson Christian in 2021 with all honors and a 4.0 GPA. Some of my high school activities included the National Honors Society, Student Government Association, concert choir, theater, and the gifted and talented program. One of my passions is art, and I started a small business 2018 for custom paintings, live painting events, art lessons, and private painting parties. I have also painted a few murals, including one for a girls’ orphanage in Baja, Mexico. Although college has limited how much I can paint, it is still one of my greatest loves and I have continued to sell my art as much as possible. Another passion of mine is travel. I have been to 15 countries and spent 3 months studying abroad during my sophomore year of college. The cultural lessons I learned there have shaped my worldview and experiences in unforgettable ways. My professional goals continue to grow and change as I progress through my college education, however, I am passionate about women’s issues and am determined to fight for women’s rights. I believe social justice of all kinds is something I am called to advocate for.
