About Annie Rowe

I am currently working with Rural Health West as the Data Projects Officer. My present work interests include Microsoft Power Platform data transformation and application development, Power BI dashboard reporting, Bullhorn API data integration, workforce reporting on the nursing, midwifery, dental and allied health workforce and managing and supporting Microsoft Access legacy systems. When not in the office I love to bake specialty cakes, sing alto in the local choral society, play old school PC computer games and try and coax my orchids to flower! I have long had a fascination with Japanese culture and language and can't wait for my next visit and having new exchange student to look after. After an early hospitality career, I started out in IT developing Microsoft Access databases for a Melbourne call centre. From there consulting work took off and I enjoyed fascinating contracts working with a variety of organisations, including Simon Richards Group (Marketing, Melbourne), the National Party of Australia (Vic, QLD and WA), Drake Training (Singapore), John Holland (Vic Rail Project) and Accenture (Melbourne). These usually involved a mixture of small CRM application development, data analysis and manipulation and software systems training. I took a break from consulting to work full time for National Australia Bank's Market Research Centre in the mid There I wrote database applications, developed business process documentation and collated and distributed market research reporting. After finishing with NAB and taking time out for study and maternity leave, I returned to consulting work as Rowe's Technology working for a variety of clients before settling permanently at Rural Health West in 2013.
