About Annie Wong

As an individual raised in a Chinese family that values culture and family, while also experiencing American life and friendships, I’ve had the unique opportunity to blend these influences into who I am today. Growing up in the U.S, I always felt different compared to my older cousins who were also raised here, and even more so compared to those in Hong Kong. My cultural heritage, instilled by my parents, has shaped my respect for others and the way I approach relationships and work. Attending public school in a diverse area encouraged me to think independently, embrace my cultural identity, and appreciate the value of being different. This has been integral in shaping my personal and professional journey. I transitioned into the hospitality industry and began my career at the front desk, quickly moving into an accounts receivable role where I gained invaluable experience. This allowed me to collaborate with sales and catering teams, where I discovered my passion for event planning and customer service. I am now focusing my efforts on the catering and conference services industry, working towards advancing in this dynamic field. I continue to evolve both personally and professionally. From the food and beverage industry to hospitality, these experiences have allowed me to explore my interests, refine my skills, and embrace my capabilities. I am deeply committed to ongoing growth and learning, and I look forward to applying my diverse background to new challenges and opportunities in the catering and conference services industry.
