About Annika Askolin

I have a creative mind set and I'm passionate about sales, traveling and learning new things. I love to get things done and keep up with high standards. I often come up with new ideas and solutions on how we as a team can do things more efficiently. I'm an organized, process-driven and competitive professional who is not afraid of change. I'm leading 50 Degrees North's successful North American sales team. My team is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Vancouver, Canada. My focus is achieving and exceeding sales targets, improving our processes and keeping our clientele and employees happy. I work closely with our product and marketing teams finding new products to our clients as well as new ways how to communicate those. I have 20+ years experience in sales (B2C & B2B) and marketing in Finland and Canada. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Haaga-Helia, University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland Additionally, I have studied in the Aalto Open University in Helsinki (2011) and received a Specialist Qualification degree in Management at Management Institute in Finland in (2017). Outside of work you can find me from a hiking trail, gym, on a golf course, sourdough baking or traveling around the world. I want to keep my mind open and find new possibilities and connections whenever those may come up.
