About Annika Lee

Hi, I am a sophomore, pursuing a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with an additional major in Engineering Design, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. My passion for engineering started with a childhood love of superheroes—not only for their powers, but for the technology that enabled them. This fascination led me to build a 3D-printed exoskeleton arm in high school, teaching me perseverance, iterative design, and hands-on problem-solving. At CMU, I’ve expanded my interest in engineering beyond just building—exploring how technology meets entrepreneurship. From launching a crowdfunding campaign to competing in the McGinnis Venture Competition, I’ve learned the importance of aligning innovation with real-world needs. Now, as a member of the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Association, I help spread awareness of entrepreneurship on campus while continuing to refine my skills in product development and technology commercialization. Outside of engineering, I beatbox for Counterpoint, a CMU a cappella group, where I get to channel my creativity in a different way. Let’s connect—I’m always up for conversations on robotics, entrepreneurship, and engineering innovation!
