Annika Young is a trailblazing creative media visionary, with over 20+ years of experience in creating, developing, producing, and publishing captivating content. Annika kickstarted her television career as a Production Assistant at Atlanta's NBC news affiliate, WXIA-TV, and quickly rose through the ranks to become an Associate Producer. Her exceptional work caught the attention of CNN, where she thrived and seized every opportunity for growth. Starting as an Associate Producer, Annika's talent and dedication propelled her to become a show writer, segment producer, and eventually a field, special projects, and live events producer. In 2008, Annika showcased her storytelling prowess by producing her first documentary,"Daughters of Legacy," for the Network. After 10 years in journalism, she made the bold decision to step away from the newsroom and establish her production company, AuhnReel Productions. Under her leadership, Annika has curated and produced a wide range of creative and diverse television and multimedia content. From directing television commercials to field producing for episodic television series and long-form content, Annika's production acumen spans every aspect of the process, from development and budgeting to directing and supervising post-production.
