Contact: annina@blockbustersgang.com I'm a film worker; graduate from Helsinki Vocational school where I focused on media production, especially in becoming an Assistant AD and a Production Assistant. For the fall of 2019, I'm participated in the Junior Program provided by Blockbusters Gang, a company which provides staffing, media and marketing services to the industry professionals in Finland and other Nordic countries. Through their program I am especially interested in furthering my knowledge on assistant directing and production work in general, perhaps on an international scale if possible- Skills - In my previous internships, I have done a lot of transcribing and translations between English and Finnish in pre-production (medical texts and interviews etc.), and I have arranged modest catering for commercial shoots and documentary shoots. I also have the basic skills to use Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, good knowledge of Microsoft Office- Language - Having completed most of my basic education in English in both Finland and Ireland, I can communicate effectively in it as well as in my native language, Finnish. I am also certificated in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, JLPT, on level 3, which means that I can communicate on a decent level verbally, although I still struggle with writing and honorific speech- Indie-side - Besides paid work I've also worked actively on independent projects in and now outside of school. I have directed, written and produced several modest short films which have been accepted to festivals in Finland and abroad; now I am working on the distribution of my longest short film project, which has taken three years of work to complete.
