After full innings of 37 years, retired from the single company he served! Rapid growth to the top as Executive Director & Member of the Management Committee entailed holding portfolios in Exports, Supply Chain, Technology, Chemicals, Agri and Fertilisers. Within Unilever, Anoop was appointed Technical Director, Unilever South Africa to serve on the Board as Director for R&D, Manufacturing & Supply Chain On superannuation from HLL/Unilever, was invited to join the Group Management Board of Mahindra & Mahindra as President & CEO of the Two Wheeler business. He steered this new foray for the Mahindra Group from inception to establishing it as a serious participant in the highly competitive market. This entailed setting up the full business value chain, complete with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution and Marketing underpinned by a strong Brand identity. Anoop has led several strategic initiatives involving M&A, Restructuring and Divestments/Portfolio streamlining, He has attended the AMP at the Wharton Business School, Advanced Strategy Program at the Princeton University and Annual Global Strategy Programs at the Harvard Business School under Mahindra Universe banner. He has served on Boards of several Listed and Group companies. Currently,as Consultant & Advisor, he is guiding,coaching,mentoring in areas of Strategy formulation, Consumer Insighting/Market-Brand Development and Leadership skills to upcoming CEOs.
