About Anran Luo

I am an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of connecting diverse fields of knowledge. My research aim is to enhance inter-and-transdisciplinary science for sustainability transformations. I have researched circular economy, waste policy as well as environmental and trade cooperation at the interface of national, supranational and international scales. Using qualitative approaches with a focus on interpretative narrative analysis, I am interested in investigating the underlying emotions, values, and beliefs that drive (in)action towards socially just and environmentally sustainable futures. In an earlier career, I was a Business Development Executive in the Regulatory Compliance industry where I specialized in promoting public source due diligence research products to global clients in investment banking, multi-national corporations and immigration screening.
