I am an accomplished Human Resources professional with significant experience across a wide spectrum of HR disciplines, coupled with a strong interest in how the underlying principles of social justice, equality and equity can be incorporated into organisational strategies and programs to strengthen culture, engagement, diversity and inclusion. I have operated in a variety of organisational contexts – start-ups, large global organisations based in Scandinavia, UK, India and Australia; in higher education, aviation and the travel industry. I have extensive experience in all facets of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment and selection, talent management, performance coaching and development, employee relations, leadership and organisational development. In previous roles I have focused on operations management, process improvement and customer service excellence. Over a long and very satisfying career I have built a reputation for maintaining enduring relationships with stakeholders and for my capacity and courage to address the most complex people issues in a fair and constructive manner. These attributes have allowed me to partner with leaders to address aspirational organisational goals and to create environments where people of all persuasions feel valued, invigorated and able to give their best.
