Lead Contributor for SCF FAPI v7 and v8 specification. Lead the standards and specification team at Marvell. 5G-NR / 4G LTE MAC layer software system architect. NR DSS (co-exist with LTE) implementation. Currently, represetnting Marvell in the Standarisation efforts towards Small Cell Forum FAPI specifcation along with lead Standards and Specification engineer internally within Marvell. Previously worked in 4G LTE Layer 2 as specialist and lead, design, re-design, architect, re-architect the LTE eNodeB Base station solution and has expertise in Scheduler Algorithms, MAC and PHY Control software implementations. Have Deep Knowledge of implementations of the following: Samsung’s FDD and TDD LTE eNodeB implementation. Cavium’s FDD and TDD LTE eNodeB implementation. Aricent’s FDD and TDD LTE eNodeB implementation. And have knowledge of the following implementation: LGE’s FDD eNodeB implementation. Open Air’s FDD eNodeB implementation, also used by ALU. SysDSoft’s FDD eNodeB implementation, also used by MimON. Professional Experience: Experience: in 5G NR and 5G NR advanced eco-system and standards. Broad understanding of 3GPP gNB ecosystem. Small Cell Forum FAPI standard leadership with successful track record of tangible impact on FAPI standards. Also includes design and development of LTE MAC and PHY Control software, both on the eNodeB and the Cellular baseband thin modem. Engaged in projects involving development of LTE MAC software from the scratch. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer engagement skills and the ability to work with all levels of management and technical teams. Related Skills: Well versed with Technical Specification of 3GPP, SCF and ORAN. Key Achievements: Advancement of SCF FAPI standards v7 and v8 to comply with Release – 17 features and harmonized with ORAN CUS plane specification. Designed & Developed LTE TDD eNodeB Small Cell Base station with Scheduler optimised and aware of Physical Channels. TD-LTE MAC design & development: Cavium, Samsung, Aricent. Proven track record with 3 different LTE MAC / Scheduler Design & Development.
