About Ansie Monaghan

Ann has been in private wealth management and institutional capital markets for close to 20 years. She began her financial advising career in 1989 in Philadelphia assisting UPenn’s fixed income trading desk and providing research on mid-tier pharmaceutical companies to clients at Philadelphia Investors. She joined Merrill Lynch in 2012, managing assets and advising clients in her wealth management practice. She realized there were not enough female advisors, let alone financial advisors, who could educate and relate to the needs of professional women, widows, and women going through divorce. In the spring of 2020, she joined a 100% women owned registered investment advisory, Glen Eagle Advisors. She collaborates with CPAs, estate attorneys, and other professionals, to ensure clear and effective communication to benefit clients. Relationships are fundamental to all of these areas and are key in her daily interactions with clients and colleagues. She routinely advises women’s groups on effective leadership skills and managing the ebbs and flows of career and family, including re entry into the workforce. Ann, also known as Ansie, holds a BA in international relations and a minor in religion from the University of Virginia. She has proudly represented the US as a National Team athlete and UVA as a varsity athlete in swimming. She is on the WomanSpace Advisory Board, as well as the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce Program Committee. Outside the office, her love of swimming has her competing in open water swims worldwide. As well as being a volunteer coach for Princeton Tiger Aquatics Club. She is the proud Mom of 3 grown children and is currently training her rescue dog Red, a 40 pound Louisiana treeing hound
