Background

About Anson Chen

Registered nurse working in an inner-city emergency department. My key research interests include quality improvement, nursing education, patient and family-centred care, and neurodivergent care in pediatrics. Presently I work as a research assistant at Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Centre for Health Research, Innovation, and Scholarship (CHRIS) on various projects. Through this work, I have been fortunate to be selected for awards in Sustainability and Applied Research at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Previously provided homecare services as an independent contractor through Alto with a focus on respite care and transitions in life. I also previously worked at Nutrien Wonderhub (Saskatchewan Children's Museum) as an education and outreach facilitator, as an educational assistant with Saskatoon Public Schools, and as a youth support worker in a high-risk group home.
