About Anssi Sepponen

I graduated from the University of Vaasa in May 2015 with a Master's degree in accounting. I started my career working for KPMG’s assurance team in January 2015. I was involved with audit engagements and other assurance projects for companies ranging from small SMEs to OMXH25 companies. I joined PwC’s Transaction Services team in October 2016 as an associate. I worked in the FDD team as a manager until November 2021. In my current role in Metso’s M&A team I'm involved in the M&A process from target screening to integration considerations and earn-out tracking. Supporting internal business case build-up, preparing valuation models, conducting and managing due diligence processes, working with carve-outs and participating in integration preparations forms the basis of my daily work. My role includes working with both divestments and acquisitions. I have worked in a global company my whole career and I find cross-border, international work intriguing and challenging, which keeps me constantly on the edge and enables continuous development.
