About Antarip Biswas
I am currently working as a senior data scientist in Adidas AG. I graduated from IIM Bangalore with a MBA degree in 2018. Prior to that, I worked in an analytics startup Abzooba for 4 years; my work was in Natural Language Processing and Data Analytics. A thoroughly realistic person, I believe in utilizing technology to solve the human needs (and not wants). After my MBA, I continued working in the field of data sciences and analytics with the motivation of being the liaison between business and analytics. Books shape who I am and a book that I recently read -"Weapons of Math Destruction" or WMD by Cathy O' Neil made me aware of the dark side of data sciences. Regardless, I still believe we can attune our data science practices for good and advocate the need of regulation of artificial language models like the EU AI act.
