Experienced leader and IT program and project manager over 20 years background in FMCG industry. Play the lead project management role on global, typically complex projects and / or large divisional projects. Take responsibility for the project plan development, definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects, ensuring that realistic project, quality and risk plans are prepared and maintained and that a project change control procedure is in place. Lead one or more project teams; allocating and monitoring tasks, motivating staff and appraising individual performance on the project. Manage a team of information technology professionals to deliver a portfolio of projects. Provide input to managers in establishing accountabilities and providing feedback for managers on the performance of team members. Support PMO Manager to ensure we continue to evaluate, monitor & improve project management process. Ensure own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and appropriate action taken. Ensure to improve how projects are managed, in order to minimise risks to the company arising from projects, maximise benefits to be realised from future projects and assure the continued development of the project management organization Monitor & control resources, revenue & capital costs against project budget & facilitates management of expectations of all project stakeholders.
