About Anthony Barnes

I am actively pursuing my associate's degree in software development and am seeking employment that will complement my studies. My ideal company is one that would allow me to utilize my problem-solving skills and attention to detail as I grow into the expert programmer that I am striving to become. After I have graduated, I intend on continuing my education until I have achieved at least a bachelor's degree in computer science with an emphasis on entertainment arts engineering. My most notable qualities are that I am goal-driven, a self-starter, a very fast learner, and I adapt easily when stepping into a new role. Years of working in the mortgage industry where every file has deadlines that have to be met has taught me how to manage time and thrive under stress. In other words, I always plan ahead, I adjust quickly when necessary, and I never miss a deadline. I always want to be someone that people can rely on and look toward when problems arise, so when I join a team, I come motivated to surpass expectations and consistently produce work that is of exceptional quality. No step is too great for me to take if it means making a contribution to my team's success.
