About Anthony Bolognese

Technology should not be an afterthought, not if it’s going to be effective. An organization’s IT infrastructure needs to drive the business forward, not bog it down. Leadership needs to fully understand the impact of technology on the business, and how to sync requirements with desired capabilities. Throughout my career, I’ve helped businesses achieve their goals, developing a shared vision among stakeholders and building an IT strategy based on a strong grasp of mission objectives and how to overcome potential obstacles. To this end, I architect, develop and build enterprise class, multi-tenant, scalable, secure and compliant software platforms using modern development principles, procedures, controls and resources. I am also passionate about engaging teams on a direct path towards business goals, seeking to accomplish this in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible. From a technical perspective, strategic decisions need to be forward-thinking while at the same time minimizing risk. To this end, ensuring compliance has been essential when working with companies that handle sensitive data. Businesses have an obligation to protect and be good stewards of sensitive data they are entrusted with. Achieving SOC 2 compliance is a crucial step towards ensuring proper security, controls, and procedures for those businesses that handle PII, PHI, or any sensitive data that the business has in its care/custody/control. Here are some career highlights: • Honored to have been invited by and to have represented PMI Rate Pro at Techstars, a leading accelerator, as the Kansas City Cohort of 2021. • Developed a LAMP stack web application for an automotive company which was presented directly to Ford Motors as a proof of concept. • Constructed an analytics application for a law firm and their Fortune 100 client, Johnson & Johnson, which became mission critical software on which this company now runs. • Led a team that neutralized 280 CWE security vulnerability flaws in one of Iron Mountain’s enterprise web applications, accomplished in 60 days.
