Achieving targets and motivating others to do the same has been one of my key strengths throughout my career I am currently reporting to the Utilities Maintenance Team Leader on a nine-day fortnight roster. As a dual trade E&I and QMI Maintenance Technician I work on a broad range of equipment across a number of operating assets in the Utilities section. The Utilities section is made up of 4 x gas fired calciners, 3 x coal and gas fired boilers and a 160MW gas fired turbine/generator with heat recovery steam generator and associated gas pipeline infrastructure- Execution of defined primary and secondary scopes from SAP: o Instrumentation inspections and calibrations. o QMI Instrumentation inspection and calibrations. o LV Equipment Maintenance. o Critical function testing on various safety critical systems. o Hazardous Area Inspections. o Fault finding on complex electrical and instrumentation systems. o DCS and PLC fault finding. o Planning and scoping of secondary/breakdown work scopes. Execution on breakdown maintenance. Being reliable, contributing member of a maintenance team that understands the requirement to maintain assets in a safe and reliable condition. Contributing to the ongoing development of maintenance processes, tasks, plans, procedures and equipment spares.
