About Anthony Calcagno

I am a licensed Professional Engineer in the areas of civil and structural engineering with a career focus on bridge design in a consulting environment. Very well versed in the delivery, design, drafting and construction standards and practices of AASHTO and the Oregon Department of Transportation, but have worked with many other jurisdictions as well. I also perform in-service inspections of roadway, pedestrian and light-rail structures and am a National Bridge Inventory certified Bridge and Tunnel Inspector. Specialties: Bridge Replacements, Project Management, Concrete Bridge Design, Prestressed Girders, Reinforced Concrete, Retaining Walls, Steel Design, Bridge Repairs, Seismic Retrofit, Load Ratings, Design Build / Alternative Delivery projects, Construction Assistance, and In Service Bridge and Tunnel Inspection. I am actively involved in the American Council for Engineering Companies of Oregon. Western Bridge Engineer's Seminar 2013 - Co-presenter for "The Shoo Fly: Sliding the Sellwood Bridge".
