About Anthony Campana

To me, information security is more than just the technology; it's about the people it protects. I believe success comes from a solid foundation, being goal-driven, attention to detail, and communicating openly. All of these things come from people, not the tech.I started in IT as a customer support representative, developing my problem solving skills and working with colleagues on support-focused projects. From there, I moved up to a management position, where I could lead my team with a balance of guidance and listening to their needs. As good as I was with technology, it was always more beneficial to practice those elusive "soft skills".In the midst of the pandemic, I did some introspection and thinking about my future. I decided to take advantage of the work from home mandates, and I put myself back in school in October of 2020. The certifications I earned along that path let me pivot away from customer support, and work internally to assist with managing company operations. As of October 2022, I graduated from Western Governor's University with a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.
