About Anthony Deman

I've been employed with Babcock Canada as a Technical Inspector since 2019, then took the Lead / Managers role, officially for the last 1 plus years. What I like most about being a Technical Inspector is the unexpected. Almost every day has new challenges and I was always learning new skills that would help myself and others with-in the team. What I like most of the Managers role is the interaction that I do on a daily basis with either the Buyers, Project Managers, Engineering, or our employer. While I was employed by the Canadian Armed Forces, I took advantage of the vast number of safety courses that were offered. I believe as an individual we cannot have enough safety courses to fall back on. As a supervisor or a small team, I strive to get the best performance out of the members that work for me, by achieving that. I lead by example. I don't believe in telling my subordinates to do something that I wouldn't do myself. With my 27 plus years of loyal service to the Canadian Armed Forces I believe it was time to move on and explore what life still holds for me. My future career interests include QA/QC, Environmental Safety, Water recycling and Security. The areas / fields that I would like to be employed in, are in the Marine Engineering Sector of the ship building and repair industries.
