Over 20 years experience in management. Currently Safety Assistant Manager at Futaba Indiana of America Corp, a company of almost 800 people. Spent 7 years as the Assistant Manager of Logistics department over 120 people and two shifts. Promoted 6 times at Futaba. Futaba is a supplier of Toyota Motor Manufacturing facilities around the country. Duties as Assistant Manager included the development of subordinates to achieve company goals through training and counseling to promote solid project planning and team work. We successfully met many of our large goals through this process. I believe you have to care about your people and their individual needs to be a successful manager. As Safety Assistant Manager, I now work daily to promote a safe work environment and safe work activities. Included but not limited to better ergonomics, communication, cross training and accident prevention training. I am tasked with understanding and upholding the standards set by OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, NEC, ISO and others. Specialties: Project planning, scheduling, forecasting, resource allocation and interpersonal communication and human resource development.
