About Anthony Eickmeier

As an Intensive Care Nurse at Bryan Health, I provide quality care to patients with life-threatening conditions, such as COVID-19, sepsis, or cardiac arrest. I work with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and other health professionals to monitor, assess, and intervene in critical situations. I also communicate with patients and their families, offering support and education. I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where I graduated in 2021.In addition to my nursing career, I serve as an Airborne Infantryman at the Nebraska National Guard, where I have been deployed in support of US AFRICOM: HOA as an Anti-Armor Specialist. I have also been promoted to the role of Team Leader, leading and mentoring a squad of soldiers. I completed my Infantry and Airborne Training at Fort Benning, where I developed confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills. I joined the Army National Guard in 2020, after completing my first year of nursing school, to continue to serve in the amazing community of Nebraska. I am passionate about both of my roles, and I strive to apply my dynamic background in both military and healthcare in my day-to-day work.
