Extensive experience and network across multiple sectors through internal and external business experience, executive leadership and “hands-on” personal involvement. Former Commanding Officer (CEO equivalent) of the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). Top-level and ultimate P&L responsibility and accountability for $1.2B annual budget,$2.0B in capital assets, scientists and engineers across seven (7) geographic dispersed locations. Well versed and experienced in all aspects of Program Management and Systems Engineering, with specific strengths in Capture, Business Development, Proposal Managment, Technical Management, Contracting, Personnel, Problem Solving, and the management and leadership of both small and large diverse organizations.
