About Anthony Gargan

As a hardworking graduate from the University of Maryland's Smith School of Business, I majored in Marketing and also completed the Environment, Technology, and Economy (ETE) Scholars Program. My education provided a broad understanding of various aspects of business and sustainability, enriching my perspective in marketing. Since starting at the Federal Business Council (FBC) in June 2018 as a Marketing, Events, and Logistics Intern, I have grown into the role of a Marketing Associate working in Digital Marketing and Marketing Research & Implementation. My journey at FBC has been characterized by a deep engagement with the company's business model and the Business-to-Government (B2G) ecosystem. In my current role, I focus on digital marketing and market research, while also taking on an expanding role in event management. This includes overseeing the entire life-cycle of certain events, from initial planning and marketing to on-site logistics and managing day-of event operations, ensuring each event's success. My approach to work is marked by a strong commitment to teamwork and leadership, balancing these qualities to achieve success in projects. I am known for my personable nature and dedication to the success and well-being of my colleagues, playing an integral role in the marketing team.
