About Anthony Harvison

Publicist and campaigns director with award-winning UK PR agency Palamedes PR, a multi-sector B2B/B2C agency with specialisms in book PR and consumer PR. In this role I oversee the day-to-day management of all campaigns from start to finish, as well as devising and executing their campaign strategies. I act as the principle contact for all clients within the agency, build and maintain relationships with the media and other key stakeholders, and direct staff (including copywriters and designers) in the delivery of services. I monitor the agency's performance and finances, as well as the same for campaigns. I am responsible for the upkeep of all social platforms, act as the point of first contact for all enquiries and have an active role in winning new business. Outside of these duties I prepare editorial including, but not limited to, news stories, press releases, features, thought-leader articles, web copy, copywriting and advertorials, media kits, broadcast pitches, synopses and book reviews. I also proof and edit editorial, both that of staff and clients. In these activities I draw upon my journalism training and almost a decade's experience within the national PR industry. During my time with Palamedes I have handled campaigns in virtually every sector, from publishing, arts, fashion, travel, health & beauty, finance, music and consumer goods to property, charity, public sector, technology and B2B. I have had the pleasure to represent hundreds of clients from all backgrounds, including celebrities, politicians, academics, influencers and pundits, publishers, business leaders and entrepreneurs, as well, of course, authors from across the publishing spectrum, from first-time, self-published writers to international best-selling figures, equally split between fiction and non-fiction titles.
