About Anthony Javier

Driven mechanical engineering student with a passion for robotics, system design, and autonomous technology. Currently completing my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I'm actively contributing to the Bio-Inspired Perception and Robotics Laboratory (BPRL) as a research assistant. My work focuses on autonomous vehicle design, involving embedded systems coding, mathematical modeling, and controller design using tools like Arduino, MATLAB/Simulink, and LabView. I've also gained valuable experience through an internship with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), working on projects related to Arthropod Vision and Neurobiology. Further developing my engineering expertise, I serve as a Certified Technical Engineer in the U.S. Army Reserves. Here, I apply my knowledge of CAD, surveying instruments, and construction principles to conduct surveys, create technical drawings, and support diverse construction projects. My strong academic foundation, combined with practical hands-on experience, has equipped me with proficiency in C++, Python, MATLAB, Docker, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and various surveying technologies. I thrive in collaborative environments and am eager to tackle complex challenges in system identification, modeling, and bio-inspired robotics.
