About Anthony Jeffrey

My story begins at the ripe age of 13. I was curious, adventurous, a keen learner and wanted to start making a little pocket money. But I didn’t really like the idea of getting up at 5am for the Saturday morning paper-round for a mere quid or two. So instead, I decided to start-up a local car washing business called “The Shammies”. With regular customers and growing success, I brought in some friends to build a team and help them earn some cash too. This scaled to +£100 each. This story still underpins me. I had a problem that needed solving but the solution had to be efficient, fun, and rewarding, bringing people with me on the journey. My professional career has mainly been within AdTech - starting before the existence of Google and Facebook - all focused on building and empowering product, operations, solutions & commercial teams, stimulating hyper-growth revenue, driving products and strategy, devising solutions and initiatives from operational and technical opportunities, and satisfying customers. My ability to learn and ramp up at pace gives me deep understanding of customer and market trends, as well as the ability to translate these insights into effective business & product strategies. I'm adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver products & services that meet the needs of the customer and achieve business goals. My background has shown how adaptable I am, constantly navigating rapidly changing market dynamics and evolving customer needs, whilst remaining focused on the long-term vision and development of companies, it's teams, clients and myself. As an example, in 2019, I decided to shift focus in my career with lack of hindsight of the forthcoming pandemic. To navigate this, I have since moved into management consulting, offering services to clients through my unique blend of skills & expertise and delivering solutions to any given brief. I've since had experience at C-suite, with the advantage of having reported consistently into this level since the start of my career. I’ve grown million-pound commercial partnerships & accounts, led data & tech integrations across the biggest agencies, brands & advertisers, media owners & tech partners, and led the development of industry leading products. Meanwhile, amongst other things, I’m a keen photographer and in my spare time have enjoyed being Club Treasurer, Secretary, and 1st Team Manager of local football club Old Thorntonians (made up of +150 people). And I’ve built my own PCs, ride a motorbike and am half Spanish just to paint more of a picture.
