About Anthony Jesse

I am a writer who has written for employers on subjects as diverse as the arts and business. I am active as a mental health advocate and maintain a blog on which I discuss issues related to bipolar disorder-a condition that I live with. As part of my mental health advocacy, I have worked with an organization called Family Support Resources to raise awareness of how mental health affects family dynamics. My work history includes serving over six years as a registered nurse in fast-paced high-acuity units in San Diego hospitals. Before that, I worked as an Editorial Coordinator and Consultant at two consultancies and an advertising firm in Tokyo. But I began my career in the arts. I studied classical guitar at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a Grammy-award-winning musician, and my early writing was all music-industry-focused. More recently, in addition to my mental health work, I have made a push to further my creative writing career. I have a short story and some poetry that has appeared online and in anthologies.
