With over 16 years in the leisure industry and 4 years in insurance, I have built a strong track record in delivering exceptional customer service, supporting teams, and driving operational excellence. I started at DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP (DIG) as a Claims Adjuster, quickly developing expertise in insurance processes and customer needs. Through dedication and consistent performance, I progressed to Team Leader and then Customer Service Manager, gaining hands-on experience managing teams, improving service standards, and ensuring seamless customer journeys. This growth has given me a comprehensive understanding of every level of the business and strengthened my ability to lead, support, and inspire colleagues. In my current role as Customer Experience and Service Excellence Coordinator, I focus on enhancing the end-to-end customer journey, monitoring service quality, analysing feedback, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. I collaborate closely with teams to promote service excellence and ensure every customer interaction reflects DIG’s commitment to outstanding support. I take pride in fostering a motivated, cohesive team environment where colleagues feel empowered to deliver their best. I believe in a “do as I do, not just as I say” approach—leading by example, encouraging collaboration, and creating a culture where both customers and team members feel valued.
