About Anthony Koffman

Anthony Koffman is a Director of Mission and Ethics for BayCare Health System. The hospitals he covers are BayCare Alliant Hospital, Mease Countryside Hospital, Mease Dunedin Hospital, Morton Plant Hospital, Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, and St. Anthony’s Hospital. In his position, Koffman is responsible for influencing, shaping, and integrating how BayCare's mission, vision, and values are lived out in the communities served. Previously at the University of Florida (UF), Koffman most recently served as the Division Administrator for the Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology. Other prior roles held at UF include the Division Administrator for Hospital Medicine, Quality Manager for the Department of Community Health and Family Medicine, and Graduate Teaching Assistant within the College of Public Health & Health Professions. A Wisconsin native, he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree specializing in Health Care Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Florida, and a Master of Arts Degree in Health Care Mission from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis. He is board-certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) since 2015. Koffman's civic engagement includes the ACHE Western Florida Chapter, the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, the Franciscan Center of Tampa, the Skip Cline Society of the Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation, the Knights of Columbus, the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes, advisory committee for the health administration programs at Santa Fe College, and previous involvement with the ACHE - North Florida Chapter board (Local Program Council Director, President-Elect, President, Past President), the Board of Managers for UF's J. Wayne Reitz Union, and the MHA advisory board at the University of Florida.
